Wind of Peace
Wind of Peace wishes to blow across the world and connect children through notebooks that will be passed from country to country. In each participating country, children will write their messages to adults in the notebook, calling on them to listen and truly hear them, to give them the opportunity to live, to grow fully, and to have their future. Their messages will travel across borders and cultures, reaching out to decision-makers and urging them to listen to the voices of those who carry the future.
With this initiative, we wish to give children a voice and enable a dialogue with those who make decisions about their future. The messages will be entirely non-political. Adults will only have a supportive role—messages will be expressed exclusively by children.
Why wind? Wind, as a symbol of movement, connection, and change, represents something invisible yet powerful that can travel swiftly across borders, cultures, and languages. Just as the wind can reach every corner of the world, the messages written by children in the notebooks carry the power to inspire change in the thinking and actions of adults who make decisions about their futures.
