School Barometer - COVID-19 and Current Challenges in Schools and Education

14. april 2020

The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) supports the education community across Asia and Europe during the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of our efforts, we started sharing a few useful teaching & learning resources on our communication platforms and notable activities by our stakeholders from the policy sector, partner organisations (e.g. universities, schools, training institutions and youth/student associations) and alumni.

Today, we would like to invite our partners, alumni & friends working in the primary and secondary school sector to promote and join the global survey “School Barometer - COVID-19 and Current Challenges in Schools and Education”. In the current situation where experts and education leaders are developing solutions and education strategies for schools, it is important that they learn directly from school leaders, teachers, parents and students about their specific experiences, needs and demands.

The survey was developed by Prof Stephan Huber & his research team at the IBB - Institute for the Management and Economics of Education, University of Teacher Education Zug (PH Zug) in Switzerland. ASEF’s Education Department collaborated with the IBB on past ASEF Classroom Network (ASEFClassNet) conferences.

The survey only takes about 10 minutes to complete. The results contribute to policy analysis & policy recommendations and will be published on the IBB’s website. Participants of the survey will also receive the systematised feedback of all participants via e-mail, if wished. All data will be treated in the strictest confidence and cannot be traced back to respondents. The data will be processed only for the purpose related to the survey, and can only be viewed by persons working at the University of Teacher Education Zug (PH Zug). Further information on data protection can be found here.

Thank you in advance for your time and contribution, and for sharing this invitation among your networks.
