Novičnik mednarodne koordinacije ASPNet
Kratek povzetek
- Nova serija spletnih seminarjev z naslovom »Učenje in inovacije z ASPnet«. Namenjena je učiteljem, vodjem šol in nacionalnim koordinatorjem mreže ASPnet. Vsak seminar bo trajal 60 minut ter vključeval predstavitev strokovnjaka, primer dobre prakse in pogovor z vprašanji. Spletni seminarji bodo posneti in deljeni z vso mrežo.
Prvi seminar, posvečen Vzgoji in izobraževanju za trajnostni razvoj in Partnerstvu za ozelenitev izobraževanja, bo v torek, 10. junija 2025.- Angleški jezik: 10.00 (pariški čas)
- Francoski jezik: 13.00
- Španski jezik: 17.00
Če želi kdo iz naše mreže v 5 minutah predstaviti primer dobre prakse, naj piše na: aspnet@unesco.org.
- Spomnimo: podaljšan je tudi rok za prispevek o umetnosti in kulturi v izobraževanju – do 30. junija 2025.
- UNESCO vabi tudi otroke do 18. leta, da do 8. junija 2025 izrazijo svoje mnenje o pravici do brezplačnega predšolskega in srednjega izobraževanja.
- Nenazadnje je odprt razpis za UNESCO mednarodne nagrade za pismenost 2025 na temo »Pismenost v digitalni dobi«.
Mid-Year Introduction Meeting for ASPnet National Coordinators

- Date and time: 11:00-13:00 (CET) on 11th June

- The purpose of the meeting is to welcome newly appointed National Coordinators, introduce them to the Network, present our working tools, and clarify core responsibilities.
- Experienced NCs are encouraged to attend to catch up on the latest news from the Network, share their tips and exchange good practices.

Launch of the new Webinar Series entitled "Learning and Innovating with ASPnet" and First Session
INVITATION
- The Unit for ASPnet is launching a new Webinar Series: “Learning and Innovating with ASPnet”. Their objective is to provide ASPnet educators, school leaders, and National Coordinators with information and fresh insights into relevant issues. Webinars will last 60 minutes and include (i) a tailored presentation by an expert from UNESCO or an external partner on a given topic; (ii) a segment that gives teachers and/or National Coordinators the opportunity to share good practices; and (iii) a Q&A. Sessions will be recorded and shared with the whole network.
- To kick off the series, the first will focus on Education for Sustainable Development and the Greening Education Partnership.
- Date: Tuesday 10th of June. Time: An English session will begin at 10am (link here), a French session will start at 1pm (link here), and the Spanish session will be at 5pm (link here), all Paris Time.
- Please make sure to share this information with the member institutions in your country. If you or someone from your national network would like to take the floor for 5 minutes and share a relevant experience on ESD, please contact ad.vogelfanger@unesco.org andaspnet@unesco.org.

- Are you an educator integrating the arts and culture into your teaching? Do you have an inspiring example of how this approach fosters creativity, critical thinking, and social cohesion? Share examples of your work in Culture and Arts Education and help develop UNESCO’s upcoming guidance on the implementation of the UNESCO Framework for Culture and Arts Education.

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
- The Intergovernmental Working Group (IGWG) on an optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child has been established, to explore the possibility of including the right to early childhood education, free pre-primary education and free secondary education for all. Before the working group's first meeting in September 2025, Member States would like input from key stakeholders, especially children (i.e. 18 years old and under).

UNESCO International Literacy Prizes 2025
INVITATION
- UNESCO is pleased to announce the launch of the call for applications and nominations for the UNESCO International Literacy Prizes 2025.
- The theme for this year is ‘Promoting literacy in the digital era’.
- All applications will go through a nomination process by the National Commissions for UNESCO or an NGO maintaining official relations with UNESCO. An applicant can request the access to the online application form through this link: https://unes.co/ilp-account.
- The deadlinefor candidates to submit applications to nominating entities is 13 June2025 and the deadline for nominating entities to submit their nominations to UNESCO is 27 June 2025.
